This is a small, personal teaching site. It is built to respect your attention — and your privacy.
Analytics
This website uses Cloudflare Web Analytics to understand aggregate website usage, such as page views and referrers. This part does not use cookies, advertising trackers or individual user profiling.
It also uses Microsoft Clarity, which shows how pages are used — where visitors scroll, click and get stuck. Clarity runs here in its cookieless mode: it sets no cookie on your device and cannot recognise you on a later visit.
There is nothing else. Google Analytics has been removed, and there is no advertising on the site — so nothing here sets a cookie, and there is no cookie banner to answer.
The learning tools
The free tools (manuscript paper, staff paper, trainers and the rest) remember your choices — language, instrument, preferences — only in your own browser’s local storage. That information stays on your device and is never sent anywhere.
When you get in touch
If you write via the contact form or by email, your name, email address and message are used only to read and reply to you. They are not shared, sold, or used for marketing. If you would like me to delete an exchange, just ask.

Purpose: If you contact me through the form or by email, I use your name, email address and message to read your enquiry, reply to you, and, if relevant, arrange lessons, feedback or other professional contact.
Legal basis: Your request and my legitimate interest in replying to relevant teaching, feedback or professional enquiries.
Retention: I keep correspondence only as long as it is useful for the enquiry, teaching relationship, administration or normal professional record-keeping.
Your rights: You may ask for access, correction or deletion of personal data connected with your enquiry by writing to daniel@compositionteaching.com.
