How is geworfen played?
Give the bow a deliberate throwing impulse and let its elasticity produce the notated rebound pattern. In ricochet or jeté, several notes commonly fall in the same bow direction after one impulse; spiccato normally gives each note a newly controlled alternating stroke, and fast sautillé uses the bow’s natural spring in another way. Read slurs, dots, bow-direction signs and the number of notes before deciding which execution the single word requires.

In context
Vienna Symphonic Library defines ricochet or jeté as a thrown bow followed by several planned rebounds in one direction. Helbling separately describes spiccato as a bow that is thrown up and rebounds, while specialist technique catalogues can combine gettato with other parameters. Geworfen therefore names the thrown quality but does not by itself collapse ricochet, jeté, spiccato, sautillé and saltando into one technique. No stable German abbreviation was found.
