Repeat sign, back-to-back

A back-to-back repeat barline ends one repeated section and begins another at the same point. First return for the section on its left; after completing that repeat, continue from the same sign as the start of the next repeated section.

Do not confuse it with

Dots appear on both sides; a simple start- or end-repeat has dots on only one side.
