In early 2026, Daniel Fladmose worked with young MGK composers in a NyKlang workshop process leading toward a collaboration with Ear Transplant, a Copenhagen-based platform for contemporary music and interdisciplinary performance.
The important point is the workshop process itself. Daniel guided the students through practical and artistic questions that appear when young composers write for professional performers: notation, sound, gesture, rehearsal, responsibility and the courage to let musical ideas meet real players.
The later KLANG Festival presentation was announced under the title Per Nørgård in Memoriam and included students taught by both Daniel Fladmose and Matthew Grouse. This activity should therefore be understood as a teaching and mentoring context connected to a professional ensemble and festival frame, not simply as a concert listing.
