My very young aspiring composers wrote for horn, violin and piano in a workshop concert at Metronomen.
The works were performed by Magne Meyer on horn, Anna Flodmark on violin and Emma Garðarsdóttir on piano. For several of the students, it was one of the first times they could hear their own music played by professional musicians.
I believe the horn is very important to meet early as a composer, since it has a central part in the anatomy of the orchestra.
The project was supported by Frederiksberg Fonden, with the Danish Composers’ Society supporting my teaching.
